TESP News icon well.. i have been working on this for a couple of days and it is well about time..

Get this, about 138 New Merchandise Items have been added to the Merchandise Section! Isn't that good? boy, i wish i could get just half of what is there now.. There are a few more items i gotta add and some which aren't Merchandise in so much they they should go in the books or Games Section. Well.. This is a good start to this week anyway. Enjoy! And Updated information on one Item. When i saw the photos, it was being stoled as a believed Money box which was a bit ify.. I have comfirmed it as being a Bubble Blower So i have updated that information.

TESP News icon Not quite sure which category to put this in but it's kinda a question to your guys. Back in the old days, There was a Game released for the MegaDrive or/and Genesis (there is a point to me saying that) caleld 'Art Alive' which was another of this paste and paint games that seamed to be all on consoles in the early 90s, even though most of them were pointless because no save, no print or anything (though the spectum, GameBoy and a couple of others did get a printer at different stages). Now. If you check the information for it on this site, you will see a Release date of 1st January 1991, which would make it the FIRST Game ever to feature Sonic, predating Sonic 1 by half a year. This isn't unlikey since it would be done to drum up fans for the upcoming Sonic.

The problem comes in two bits. First, i have some conflicting release dates. Some just say it was out in the US in 1991, some say January 1991, some say 1st January 1991. This aren't really conflicting too much. Some Say it was out in the UK in 1992, others say It was NEVER released in the UK. Some say it was out in Japan 27nd of March 1992, some say Never out in japan.. Pretty conflicting there.. Now.. I was looking at the US release date and thinking.. since when do they release Computer games on the 1st of January. I have found out that the US doesn't have the same rules on New Years day and shops are still open but it does still sound a little odd to me. So i am wondering if anyone have any proven information on the release date for this ... game..

TESP News icon Updated the Cover for Archie's Sonic Archives Volume 7. Anything else to say? nope... So... .. I think Sonic Select Volume 1 should reprint the Archie Specials 'In your Face', 'Sonic and Knuckles', 'Triple Trouble' and 'Sonic Live'. I got this one on order (some reason, i couldn't find this one for a while) Volume 2 should be out soon and i really hope i decide to reprint the Sonic Mini-Series as well (and then there is the Knuckles Series) but am not sure what is going on. I'll put up information when it turns up.. i gotta Order Archives Volume 7 and 8 soon too..

TESP News icon I updated the Screenshots for Sonic R (both Saturn and PC versions) so that are done now. On another note, i have another Sonic Guide book coming soon (within the week is the esimate) but i think it's from the US (since it is a US book) so it might be a bit longer -_-. Either way it is the Sonic 3 Guide book by Brandy games so i'll be able to add the information onto the Site in the book section AND since they also did the Sonic and Knuckles one, i am expecting alot more codes ^_^

TESP News icon Sorry.. Since the last post something has come to my attention. The Game Genie was not for the Myster System which comfirmed that bit of information but the main bit i want to say is the Game Genie only did the Consoles around one time. These Being MegaDrive, Game Gear, Game Boy, Snes and Nes. The Action Reply is still going and you can get it for pretty much all current console. I always found the Action Reply to be less supported and stuff but it seams that was NOT the case. The GameShark is still going but it was a late one and only works for the Saturn in the 'Classic' Sega run. These days it is basicly a save/back up device more then cheat, and the Code Breaker is still going but i can't say much about that one since it was first around 1999-2000 so well after the Classic age.

We may talk about the game Shark later because of the Sonic Saturn games but not the Code Breaker, and a big YES to talking about the Game Genie and Action Reply. I would also like to note that Sega was the only company that really agreed to these Cheat Devices but still tried some blocking code in there games. Nintendo Sued Game Genie in fact..

Manic Man
TESP News icon Added the Lyrics for WonderMan mk2 by Right Said Fred (see Related). The one Sonic book i got coming is late and i have another couple on order which should help me with some more Game Genie codes and some other things So i hope to get them up soon. Also, am not quite sure on the Action Reply codes.. There should be some Sonic ones but am not sure if i should put them in there own section like the game genie or what..

If you don't know, basicly the action Reply was like a Game Genie but it didn't do so well and seamed to have alot less codes for it.
