Archie are starting up a new Sonic series 'Sonic Universe' and yep, like everyother Universe range going around, it's a mix of different dimensions and stuff..
Also, i will note that, sure, i gotta update the archie section more but there will NOW be a cut off point.. Everyone knows that Archie comics as a company are pretty c##p now (that is a strong word for me...) and even there Archie range is poor these days (Come Back Mr Goldwater! It's turn to hell since you died!). Not Only is there Sonic Range completey Neo but nicking Fleetway Characters, Creating oringal ones which are very close to the more tin-pot fan ones? Nicole is now an Hologram Lynx girl.... This stuff gives fans a bad name... Sure, i look back and some of my old storys i'm thinking 'yeah.. it's junk. you can tell it's a fan stuff because it's just stupid'.. i find alot of small time fan stuff can be pretty stupid.. Oh sure, i'm not moaning at them but after a while you get a little fed up with 'how many colours can we recolour sonic' or 'Lets stick a Hedgehog with Tails's Tails and Knuckles Spines' etc.. it just gets a little borning and simple... but then they are doing the best they can! they are often fans which aren't great artists or designers so they have to cut-n-paste stuff to get there stuff done! Well done for trying!
Okay, on TSW, I find characters like Manic and Whirlwind have too much of a role (Just to note, i took my nickname FROM my character Manic Man, NOT the other way around.. am not big on Fans that hve to stick themselfs as characters and stuff.. There is alot about Manic that is NOTHING like me) but when it comes to oringal characters there are REASON for them.. Hey, Look at AOSTH.. Only 3 Sega Characters and they rest are Oringal characters.. SatAM? Same deal.. SU? yep 3 but it's a different three (Minus tails, Plus Knuckles). So there isn't as much a bad deal with my Oringal Characters. This site costs a fair bit of money to run.. money that isn't recovered in anyway.. So i do the Cafepress shop (and now, the ad bars).. You will only see Oringal Characters on the Cafepress shop UNLESS i can get that okay from both Sega and DiC (why? Sega don't own Sally, Bunnie etc.. despite what some seam to say) They don't even really own the SatAM Robotnik design when you think of it.. Anyway.. So only Oringal characters can be used. What seams like a stupid idea now, we used SatAM as a base for TSW why? Because we knew there was no chance we would be able to do enought storys to set everything up from scratch and it was a good enought world to start with. It also means people have a good idea of the already set up characters. People should know the Character of Sonic, also Sally, Bunnie, etc.. So at first, we need to get everyone up to scratch on the new characters. So we first feature this characters more. TSW is running WAY behind what it should be so we have only really gotten the set up storys but we are getting to the bits were Sonic is the big time Saving the Day hero etc. Notice that none of our storys do we really show our characters in that light.. Was Manic a hero? not really.. They are all just support characters (In fact, characters like Manic aren't gonna be around for the ..... i can't say too much more..
boy i should have used the full story for this but i want to write something explaining my views and everything soon.. this is just the short version ^_^
