 TESP News icon Well, today marks one of the things i was working on to make up for the lack of book updates really.. What is it?

Well... The Outline for the SatAM Episode 'The Void'. Let me explain.

When a Story is thought of, a small bit of text is written up to say what the plot is. If the idea is liked, they then write the Outline. This is a screen by screen description of the whole story, with some dialogue but mostly just things like 'Sonic explians why he is there' more then what he says. From this point, it goes on to being writen as a Script and, well, i won't go on since it's not needed at this point ^_^

This Outline for the Void is quite different from the final episode and features many ideas that were removed (some of which, are currently on the 'Removed' bit for the Episode) some of which help to explain the story much better. I don't know how go hold of the outline and scanned it but i found it on a old disc of junk from about 3 harddrives ago and it was in a awful state. Not the worst i have seen but the kind of state i would NEVER release. So i did a lot of clean up work and now it's much better and readable. It also features a number of pencil writen notes by the writer. This outline is dated April 7th 1994 which gives you an idea of how long the turn around for an episode is (that is quite different from the final episode which aired 29th October 1994.. 6 Months later)

Anyway.. this is a bit long winded.. Enjoy though ^_^

 TESP News icon Okay, Okay. For all of your looking for this week Book Update.. Sorry. I haven't be able to get on ready for this week and i'll be out of town next weekend so there probebly won't be a book update then.. BUT with luck, this week and next there will be stuff to make up for it ^_^

I'm already working on a couple of little bits and there is something good coming up (with luck, Sunday)

 TESP News icon Two new Sonic DVDs are coming out in the US and are you guys getting as fed up with this 4 episode collections as i am? oh well. Since they are american, they can pay for new cover art and some isn't too bad.. not amazinly great but much better then Archie Comics Sonic range can do ^_^

The First is 'Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic the Hero'. It comes out 5th of May and i have no idea what episodes might be on it.. Since most episodes are about Sonic being a Hero...

The Second, also on the 5th of May is 'Sonic the Hedgehog: Freedom Fighters Unite!' and it has pretty good cover art.. Using SatAM Designs, not archie.. i won't say there aren't mistakes (like Bunnies Robot Parts on the wrong side) but it's pretty good. again, i'm not sure which episodes are on this one.

Both DVDs have images (and Large Images) in there sections on TESP.

 TESP News icon Added a removed feature for Sonic Triple Trouble showing Fang (Nack) with a Gun.. Pretty clear why it was removed, though his gun (but different) was returned for Sonic the Fighters.. but that was a 'Pop Gun' ^_^

 TESP News icon It's taken a while to get the Translation but now i can finally not only add a Translation of a Italian Sonic Article about the Amiga version on to the site (Articles) but Some information on the Amiga Canceled game (Games-Others & Canned). Hope you guys enjoy! and don't worry.. one thing i'll be doing is trying to redraw them screenshots pixel by pixel ^_^

 TESP News icon Well, the first poll is now closed with a total of 15 Votes and there is a clear enought winner.

10 Votes for Having a section for Canned games, 6 of them (a clear lead) for also having them in there own section only.
the other 5 were for removing the Canned games or leaving things as they are so.. that is a clear enought lead right?

So.. I have opened the Canned Games section of the Game Information. And i quickly did up a nice little 3D image which i'll give the full version here.


Another Poll will probebly be up sometime.. this one didn't do amazingly bad.

 TESP News icon I have Finally gotten around to it.. Now on the Game Information page you can see the Articles about that game and you might notice a couple name changes when it comes to that section on the menu.. Why? Cause i want to start putting more there in the term of Reviews, Bits of information, previews etc from Game Mags and such like, as well as my own articles and such like.

The Poll has now been up 10 days and we have 12 votes.. not amazingly good but i think that's a pretty good turn out ^_^ Though don't let that stop you from Voting if you want.
