Just a note

Just to inform you, tweaking is currently being done on the search engine. Right now, it means While i have it working for animation voice actors, it thinks that anyone that worked on a animation must be a voice actor.. which is wrong.. shouldn't take too long to fix and do a bit more to deal with stuff.. so don't panic ^_^

EDIT: should be fine now and the search has been improved because of it.. though i've hit a small brick wall i'm working on ^_^ but that'll take some time

EDIT: I've tweaked the search again, cause i found some of the infomation was pretty much just repeating the same thing.. So for Voical roles (I'll be doing it for others too) you just get the People database entry which has more information on each role they did, which characters (with links to them characters pages) etc..

Also, i've tweaked all but the SU profiles to give a linking list to which episodes a character has been in UNLESS they have been in All or a major regular. For them, it would take up WAY too much room (wanna scroll down a list of all 66 AOSTH episodes for Sonic? not really worth it.

Busy day
printable version
Alot going on today, eh?

well.. I've been working on fusing some of the animation lists together.. Right now (or more later), I add staff names to the Castlist and what roles they play. This is 100% indepention from the Character Profiles. So, if i'm able to show an actor did a role, i have to update both the character profile AND the cast list.. this has meant the cast list is a little out of date on some of the smaller roles.. Not anymore! Just for AOSTH so far (i'll get around to the rest) but i've linked them up. For the cast list, I tag the Actor with the roles he has played it searchs the profiles for characters that match the tag, and prints the full name and links to there profile. In the Profiles, it searchs the cast list for any actors with that characters tag and adds there name to the voice list. very nice and good. Take a little while but i'll add it for the others too ^_^ there is a small problem. Some characters, Like Rocket, doesn't yet have his own page.. So it credits Ian James Corrett as the whole family, even though he only did one.. I'll work on that.. Probebly end up meaning i give each one there own page.. which is stupid cause they aren't really 'big' enought to need there own page and more always as a group but.. well.. I guess i should spilt them up a bit ^_^;

Anyway.. That is to come.. right now, AOSTH Cast list and Profiles have been updated to a new system. Enjoy!

EDIT: OVA and SatAM have been done. Also done a few minor tweaks to the Profiles page. SU also done. need to update the search Engine now

Small problem
printable version
Just a note, there is a small problem with the databases right now. Basiclly, it's a Character Encoding error. Some Characters, like don't want to display corectly with the current encoding (I use either UTF-8 or CP1251) so i need to figure out what is the correct encoding from the excel files i use.. This might take some time as i've tried what SHOULD be correct, and it's not.. sorry if this creates too much of a problem for people in the short term ^_^

EDIT: This is mostly fixed now.. It was an encoding problem which is a bit tricker to fix then expected. In the end, i had to run lines through a encoder one by one but i hope to get around then need to do this soon.

International Sonic!
printable version
I've gotta fully work things out so they appear correctly on the character profiles and all, but i've added alot of AOSTH Voice Credits.. In fact, the Main cast dubs in Japan, France, Brazil, Portugal, Chile, Italy, Argentina & Sweden. Well.. Not quite for Portugal, which is where i would like some help if anyone from there can help..

I prefer to have 2 sources of infomation (If official source, like the credits from the show etc, then only 1 is needed) and i perfer if they haven't copied from the same source, so i can lessen any chance of mistake.. However, i have seen about 2 different sets of Portugal credits writen.. 3 Cast roles are changing around.. I know some roles had 2 different actors but thats not this problem.. Some credit Rui Paulo as the Voice of Sonic.. Some say he was Grounder. Some say Manuel Arouce was Sonic, Some say he was Coconuts, Some say Tiago Castro was Grounder, some say Coconuts.. So.. three names that seam to swap between the three roles.. I have no clue which is correct. I doubt the shows credits label each one (though if anyone has a few screens or a clip of just the credits that would be nice). Any help would be great though.. I kinda don't expect it. Since i perfer 1 source to be FROM the country (A japanese person should know more about Sonic in Japan then a french person etc) i would perfer people to point to refences from them countries.. Oh and Wikipedia ISN'T an official source.. Nor is ANY Wikia. If one is given, then it only counts as Half a source.

EDIT: Also started to add International Names for Different Episodes.. While this site is english and based in England, so thats the bunk of the information, i want to cover as much as possible and i hope this helps people and is of intrest to them.

bits
printable version
Not too much.. 2 Items added to the Merchandise section and they are Japanese Phone Cards, but more important is 4 DVD releases for AOSTH. These are the complete AOSTH, renamed 'Les Aventures De Sonic' (The Adventures of Sonic basicly). Each Box set is 4 discs and I love the Cover Art. Mostly basic images redrawn, but they are very intresting. The First features Sonic and Tails, the Second, Sonic and Robotnik, the Third? Sonic and Professor Von Schlemmer and the fourth.. great art but... Sonic and 'heads or Tails' style Sally? a bit weird but like i said, it's great art.

Anyway, information and Cover images (Including Large ones) are in the Video Release section. hope you enjoy.

Nothing much to report
printable version
Not too much right now but i've comfirmed that the French print of Sonic the Comic by Tournon Egmont got to atlest issue 5 and i've got the thumbnail size cover for issue 5. Prices for Issues of the french Comic seam to go pretty high for no clear reason (i guess... it's fairly uncommon to see issues around but that's it). Also added a couple more names to the people database and i'm gonna add a 'shortlink' link to the database soon but.. well, neither is that important right now ^_^;

Great news everybody! I've just added a new Interview I conducted.. This time, with STC Artist Ferran Rodriguez. Ferran's work was mostly at the early days of Sonic the Comic but did alot of work that was printed all over the place, from covers, to posters and even gifts like the Badnik Spotter cards.
