Well.. Well.. The Badnik information has been updated to feature the Japanese name (in both Kanji and romaniziced version.. note, i might have the odd symbol wrong, but i was a bit surprised how some symbols translated when i knew they were the right symbol.. ( o is a Ba yet a number of people seam to say it's Va .. odd but all my langage sheets say Ba, and so does the character map).
Of course, if you don't have a japanese character set install (you should have) or there is a bit of a problem with your browsers text encoding then you might not see the japanese characters right. But that's only really a small problem.
So far, they are only up for Sonic 1, Sonic 2, some of Sonic 3 and some of Sonic & Knuckles. Shame some of the Manuals don't have full infomation for all the badniks.. that's going to be the main problem.
Oh and i hope to have a new badnik bit up soon to rival the boss guide bit.. I'm already get trivia together for the badniks.. Of course, you guys know what Sonic 1 Badnik is named after the german Fieseler Fi 103 Right?
if not, you will have to wait..
Is that all? NO! Not by a long shot. If you go to the 'Fun' menu you will now see 'Arts & Crafts' section. This is where we will put fun little arts and crafts relating to Sonic and friends. So far? Well, today i add something which has taken alot of work.. a Sonic the Hedgehog Christmas Tree Topper! This was first given out in STC issue 14. I could never get mine on my Tree, so i had a little tree i had it on, and ever since 1993 (when it came out) it was sitting on that tree every year until, sadly, a few years back i think my parents decided to be a bit stupid and get rid of the old little tree for no reason so now it doesn't have a home (though i did get it on my tree one year since then (last year i had a plushie garfield.. that was a big job to get it to sit there (Note, use string and attach it more to the wall and ceiling))).. where was i?
Oh, right.. for a long time, i have been wanting to scan it in but never got around to it. Well, i finally got round to it and kinda wish i hadn't.. it was a major job.. Basiclly, i had to strip the whole thing down to it's lines and clean them up, recolour, restore, go though a bit of paper getting it so i'll line up for double sided printing, scanning and do a bit of a clean up job on the intructions from Issue 14, and anyway.. It's out now! You can download this, print on card (or print two pages on paper and stick to card, what ever), cut it out and have it on top of your tree ^_^
There might be another version of this coming out soon, but either way, it's a nice little christmas update huh? i hope to have more and more arts and crafts stuff to come in the future.
Well now.. Enjoy all of that!
