When Shortfuse saved Tekno, she was a prisoner. He saved her because he knew she was the girl that created the metal his suit was made out of. With her help, his armour was upgraded and a bomb was made to attack Robotnik. Since then, she has hung out with Shortfuse in her underground base. When Sonic was away, Sonic's gang joined up with them and Amy had a long string of Adventures with Tekno as they travelled though different worlds, doing good and hoping to one day return to Mobuis. In the end, they did.
