Welcome to the planet Mobius! It used to be a beautiful and joyous place to live. Guided by the benevolent King Acorn, all seemed like paradise. That is, it was, until the evil Doctor Ivo Robotnik rose up against the inhabitants of the great city of Mobotroplis. Using his knowledge of technology and polliution, Robotnik conquered the land and its people. In the aftermath of the devastation created by Robotnik and his mechanical army of Swatbots, he subjected the citizens to a process whereby they were remade into mechanical slaves, toiling over the polluted lands on the now recristened Robotroplis. As for the king, he was exiled, seamingly forever. But where there is great loss, there is often found great hope. Among the youngest of the citizenry were its most courageous. Banding together as a brave group of "Freedom Fighters," they struggle to overthrow the dictator and one day regain what was once theirs. Rotor serves as the group's inventor and chief engineer. Antoine is renowned for his military skills. Bunnie Rabbot makes great use of her robotic limbs. Led by the courageous and resourceful Princess Sally Acorn, they form the spearhead of the rebel alliance.
