Two Stone Gargoyles keep guard on the Palace of Time, in which the Time Stones lie. When Sonic and Sally tried to enter, they were attack by these but by using his brains, and jumping off the island, Sonic seamed to destroy them. This however seams to be a test and they reappeared on guard but let Sonic and Sally through.
