    The Wizard Lazar was an Evil Wizard that lived some time ago. For some reason, he entered a deep sleep in a Forbidden Zone of Mobotroplis, watched over by a creature called 'the Guardian'. With Lazar, was his spell Book Computer, said to contain all his evil spells. Over the years, he dreamt as he slept and decided evil wasn't something he wanted to be. Then, Robotnik came along, stole the spell book and woke him up. With the Help of Sonic, Lazar got his spell book back, and now reformed, allowed Sonic to put it where it would never be used again. Sonic asked him if he wanted to join up with the Freedom Fighters but he refused and was never seen again.

    Notes Relating to the Character-
    * Lazar's magic appears to be a fusion between Magic and science since his Spell book was a computer, and was needed to cast spells which were in it, and when he trapped Sonic, he did so via a button on his belt.
